It’s well known inside Hollywood that strike time is when studios clear out what they perceive to be the creative dead wood, clear the decks and get ready for new material. The last major strike spawned the legendary Era of the Spec Script. It will happen again. As hard and harsh as it is, it is very likely that this strike will create new openings and opportunities for many writers – those who are ready. NOW is the time to be studying your TV shows and writing.
