on How to Subscribe for Free

For the past three years, we've gotten emails from subscribers around
the world wishing we'd bring our L.A.-based screening series to their
hometown so that they can be a part of the incredible Q&As with writers
and directors that we get during these screenings.

Well, guess what—rather than bringing the series to your hometown,
we're bringing it to your desktop computer and/or iPod (or non-Apple
MP3 device), because we're now podcasting our Q&As!

Not sure what a podcast is? Think Satellite Radio for screenwriters, but as a downloadable audio file on your computer.

Don't have an iPod? No worries. You can still listen to these shows for free on your regular computer desktop, through your computer speakers. Of course, if you do have an Ipod, you can transfer the file to your iPod and then take it with you wherever you go. Our first four podcasts are ready to be downloaded:

Thumbsucker - Jeff Goldsmith interviews writer/director Mike Mills
and actors Lou Taylor Pucci, Kelli Garner and Vincent D'Onofrio about
the making of this solid indie coming-of-age tale.

Four Brothers - Screenwriters David Elliot and Paul Lovett talk nitty gritty about creating this ballsy, '70s-throwback actioner, and working with director John Singleton.

Fantastic Four - Screenwriter Mark Frost on cosmic rays and writing the FF flick, and working with David Lynch on Twin Peaks.

The Island - Ex-Alias writing team Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci on
rewriting each other's high school love notes to their crushes, working
with Michael Bay on The Island, Steven Spielberg on Transformers, and
of course their old boss JJ Abrams on Alias and Mission: Impossible
III.

Don't Wait, Start Now!

Just fire up ITunes (version 4.9), click on the Podcast icon in the upper left-hand corner, and search for "Creative Screenwriting". Once you subscribe for free, new podcasts will appear in your account for download as soon as we post them.
